BPI Baby Kidnapped

There was a baby in our community kidnapped by his mother yesterday. The baby has a BPI injury among other injuries due to his birth. The father has custody and is taking care of his medical needs. I am going to copy the email that came to me. Not sure if this is appropriate, but was thinking if this mother tries to get help or support she might contact someone in the BPI community. Maybe we could keep our eyes open for this baby.

Dan and I ask for your prayers. Our son, Scott's youngest son, Shawn-2
years old was kidnapped by his mother yesterday at 3:30 p.m. She is headed
for Texas with 2 men friends.

She called Scott and told him, "she's keeping Shawn and Scott will never get
him back." Yuba and Sacto. counties has Scott's and his ex-mother-in-law
phones tapped---hoping she will call in, so the detectives can pin-point her
location. She did call (at 9:30 p.m.) her mother and Scott and the
detectives pin-pointed her location just outside Mojave (at a pay phone in
front of a small store)---they're on their way to Los Vegas.

There is an Amber Alert out on the kidnappers and their vehicle.

Shawn has monthly home visits by a nurse to ensure the water on his brain
has not increased to the fatal point as a result of his birth delivery.
Yes, the little guy has an enlarged head due to that delivery. These
check-up visits are vital for his well-being.

His mother, Pearl has a long history of drug abuse, in-and-out of jail,
homeless and much more. Let's just say she has a large rap sheet with the
authorities. She has caused Scott much grief in the last two years.

Please pray that Shawn will be reunited with his daddy and other siblings
and that the family will be encouraged and use wisdom in the decisions that
await his daddy.

THis Grandma has been on the boards just recently....our family will keep her and the entire family on our thoughts and prayers....especially that poor little boy !!!

Just another thought....has anyone e-mailed this to Dr. Nath, Lisa Thompson, Lisa Davis or the like, in case she tries to get help there.....I would assume that is the place that she would go...I don't have their e-mail addresses, or I would do it !!!

I just heard that the mother had been picked up and the baby is being returned home. Please keep this family in your thoughts & prayers.
