Hi Ken, I'm sorry you are in pain and can't get your medication. I found the website for Purdue Frederick http://www.cocensys.com/ .
I note that MS conton is morphine sulphate-be very careful with it as it can be highly addictive and in the case of bpi, may be very dangerous if you have any damage to the phrenic nerve. Opiates have not been found to be of much help in nerve pain compared to other painkillers, have you any way to visit a specialist pain clinic? It may be that something else would be more help to you. All bpi'ss are differrent tho, and if this is what works for you I hope you find a way to get it, hopefully someone who understands your medical system will post here and help you. Good luck :0)

Are you in the US? Are there any free clinics nearby? Maybe they can give you free samples until you get it resolved??? What about the state's medical insurance? Have you applied for that? Sometimes even if you're not eligible for the help you could be eligible for a supplemented type insurance where you pay on a sliding scale.
I live in a rural community and there is mobile clinic that comes once a month and offers services free or on donation basis....
I wish I was more help....Good luck to you!!!

WITH MS CONTON , IT IS SUSTAINED RELEASE, JUST A LITTLE AT A TIME .ONCE WE GOT THE DOSE RIGHT , I FELT QUITE NORMAL AND IN VERY LITTLE PAIN. I WAS ON SOME KIND OF STATE ASSISTANCE, BUT THEY CANCELLED IT. IM ON REGULAR MORPHINE NOW , IT LAST JUST A FEW HOURS AND THEN THE PAIN IS BACK. I'VE TRIED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING OUT THERE. ANTI DEPRESSANTS, NUERTON, ETC. THANKS EVERYONE, THIS SITE SAVED MY LIFE ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO. I REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS JUST OB STERIC AL. MY ORIGINAL POST WAS ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO" DISLOCATED MY SHOULDER, ENDED WITH TBPI. " KEN

Just bringing this back to the top and want to say I sure hope you have found some relief Ken. if not, keep searching, keep telling your doctors, just keep talking and searching. try to locate a pain management center. With all the new information coming out about the pain affecting the healing process these things have really become more available, as they should be. Please keep us posted.
