Wish us luck! My son is having nerve transfer surgery with Dr. MacKinnon on August 18. She will try to give him some bicep control for his right arm and possibly some grip in his hand. He has some movement in the fingers and can bend his wrist down but not up. We are looking forward to any improvement and know that it is a long process. We are fortunate to have this experience.

I had an ulnar nerve transfer January 2009. Please try and get involved with an Occupational Therapist that is a hand and arm specialist. Best of Luck.
