Last night on the New Jersey News 12 during their Health segment, they showed a family with Erbs Palsy. The little boy was named Joshua. The Mom explained what happens at birth and how Joshua couldn't feed himself. They went on to say that majority of the children get better but some like Joshua need medical intervention. He said that he had surgery and was doing much better (for now I gather) they also had a ob/gyn on (Dr. Vielle??) and he said, ARE YOU READY FOR THIS, that fifty percent of children that are born with this, Erbs Palsy, that it happens in utero. I wanted to know where they found him. Just wanted to share this with you.

Find out who the reporter is and send them some information, or refer them to this site for more info...guess they didn't do their homework.

I found the report, scroll down to the "12 to your health" reviews and click on Tues. August 20. I can't get it to buffer beyond 68%. If someone else can great, just thought I'd let you know I found it.

I did get the video to buffer, but there was nothing in it about Erbs. I sent the station an e-mail asking for a copy of the transcript. We'll see if they answer me.

Ok, I got just the headlines part of it. Found a contact email address and am asking them to visit our various sites to get further information. Any takers to follow up and maybe get them to do better research? Here is the address I found:
