Mary (Sarah's mom)

I sent you an email but it bounced back for some reason. Sarah is a beautiful little girl but what she has to endure is just heartbreaking. I sat here shaking my head thinking "and
they (as in OB) don't even know about any of this, do they? and do they even care?"
I look forward to the text that goes along with it and as soon as I get it - the page will be up. Can you tell me what color you want as background and as text?
This is a very worthwhile Awareness project and I hope that when others see this, they will also come forward to do the same.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
francine

Francine, I will get the rest to you tonight I hope. We have just switched computers and I have found that I don't have word on my newer one. I may have to send the text in e-mail if I can't resolve it. Thank you for your compliments about Sarah. I know what you mean about "they". I saw Sarah's delivery Dr. last weekend in a store. She didn't even recognize us, not that she would. I wanted to chase her down and show her Sarah in her cast. Wouldn't of done any good but at least she would know that although she goes about her day as she always has, that Sarah is still dealing with the results of something that she may have done. I was surprised by how angry it made me. Anyway, I hope to have the rest to you tonight. Sarah's favorite color is blue so if the background can be dark blue,(rhymes with scooby doo) that is all I can ask. Text will be your call since you'll be able to see what looks best and is easiest to read. Thanks for your help!! Mary

I would like to put a white border around sarah's pictures so that they show better on the dark blue background but I do not have photo shop or another photo manipulator...
if you have photo shop - would you care to grab those pictures and put a white border around them and then email them back to me??
thanks in advance to whoever steps forward,
francine

Hi Mary, When you mentioned seeing the OB delivery dr in the store & the feelings you had, brought back alot of memories for me when I saw my delivery dr in the store also. She seemed as though she didn't have a care in the world just doing her shopping. It made me wonder if she thinks about what she did to my baby. If the nurse thinks about it? Why do they get to have a "worry-free" life. While not a day goes by that we as parents don't wonder how much our children will recover, how much function will they have? Will these surgeries work to give them the most function possible?
You know my dr didn't even come in my room to see me or bother to explain to me what happened or why it happened, she just ignored me. I never saw or heard from her again. Then when I see what my child has to go through from surgeries, from PT resistance or when I see her try to do something an injury free child her age can do & she can't, it breaks my heart in two. But one thing I have to share is if I have to wait 10 more years for Ashley to be compensated JUSTLY I'll wait, if I have to decline a settlement & go to court I will.
I have nothing to be ashamed of, they do. They don't want a day in court with me thats for sure. I felt your emotion when I read your post & I've been there to so I really wanted to share that with you...especially to know that your not alone. Melissa
cancel the photo shop request...
