Hi. Friends. You would not believe what happened tonight. My little 3 year old put duct tape on her dogs face. Right above the nose and mouth. I can't get it off. It doesn't interfer with breathing or moving the mouth.....But do you have any ideas on how
to remove this. The vet said to just pull..(I can't do this.) Any other ideas????
Please help.
Thanks,
Deb

I would try to cut it off first, if you could get a scissor between the tape and skin. Pulling would be cruel, in my opinion.

My only suggestion would be to try to use vaseline around the edges and just work it slowly into the hair. Best of luck to you!

I hope the dog is freed by now too, but if not how about a muzzle and a pair of hair trimmers like my husband uses for his mustache and beard on the closest setting? Just a thought don't know how it would work. LeeAnne

Hi.
The dog is freed! The tape came off with the vasoline.
The dog was ok with it. A stern talking to the 3 year old was given. :)
Thanks for the advice,
DebbieJean

I had a cat when I was young; This cat had very long hair. I had a younger brother. He seemed to get into everything. He tried to super glue my cat to the tree. (She had attacked his football.) He gave her a hair cut, all the way to the skin and beyond in spots. (He had to have a hair cut and he thought it was only fair.)He climbed up on our house, while my dad was putting on a new roof and dropped her off the roof. He stated 9 out of 10 times, they do roll over and land on their feet. But its the 10th time that really makes them mad!" Just think of the memories that your children are making for themselves and you. God Bless!
