decreased circulation....not all bad

Post by George »

Someone told me early on to look for the rainbow after the storm. was working in the shop a few days back and zipped open my bpi thumb on a piece of jagged metal....very deep cut which would have normally required stitches........not this time. No pain at all. Didn't even know I was cut till I saw a spot of blood on my shirt......only a spot ! and it didn't even hurt when the iodine went in it. I put a bandage on it and took it off later that day to find that the cut had completely sealed itself and there was no blood on the bandage anywhere. Weird yes......and so nice to not have the pain of stitches. Small blessings......

It is kind of weird! Good something nice comes out of this injury! You are right about the small blessings. We will take them wherever we can get them! Is everything still healing nicely for you? Hope so.

I guess things have healed to the point that they are through healing. Can't complain bout the results though........probably have 70% use of the ol' arm back. Pretty good considering I'd have been happy to just bend my elbow again. I know how lucky I am.

Good to hear from you, Joy. Hope all is well down there in the sunshine state. Air conditioners are getting a good workout this year, huh? Take care.....
