bent fingers

Amarie has been recovering VERY well from all her surgeries, but in the last month or so we have noticed that she tends to keep her pinky and her ring finger bent when all her other fingers are straight. It is usually when she is concentrating on doing something, but it does have me a little worried. Has anyone else seen or experienced this?

Jody keeps all fingers, except index bent. Just recently he is able to straighten them. He had primary w/ grafts in Feb 2005.

My daughter Aubree had her primary surgery June 2008. Around August she started extending her fingers slightly (WE WERE VERY EXCITED). A couple months later and still now, she started holding her fingers clenched in at the middle joint. We're hoping that this just means that she's regained that movement and it's so much stronger than extending and that the rest of the movement will come later. With that said, her therapist made her a splint to wear at night to keep her fingers stretched and in a more neutral position.

My little one keeps her pinky out. Specialists seem to think it can't be helped. I posted the same question a while ago and can't remember if I got responses if you want to search. I think I said she had it bent out like at a proper tea party!
