Best BP clinic in California??

Post by mgmhcrichardson »

Hi! I haven't been on the message board for a very long time. But I need some info. My 8 year old had 2 surgeries TCH when she was younger - now we live in Calif. Does anyone have any good recommendations for BP clinic or MD here?? Thanks

We have seen Dr. Vincent Hentz at Stanford. He holds brachial plexus clinics about once monthly. I don't know that I feel strongly about him one way or the other. He isn't very personable but he is knowledgable. He also connected us to a study and we had decent results. Because of her age (5.5) and degree of return of motion he only monitors her rather than seeing her more frequently which rankles me a bit.

We have a medical resource page on the website. I encourage you to go through it thoroughly. Many docs will respond to emails and videos.

I have taken my daughter to Michael Pearl, he is at Kaiser. I liked him. We live in New York, so we don't see him regularly.

As always, I encourage you to get multiple opinions.

good luck,
