well went to hospital and had a needle stick EMG.
Confirms that my Three heads of my deltoid havent recovered as yet.
I have had a little nerve damage to my tricep, but still retain function.
Meeting with my surgeon thursday morning. so i guess it looks like i will be going under the knife soon.
Is it a 2 year window of opportunity to retain function after nerve surgery?
Wish we had a Mayo clinic here in Oz

How are things going for you these days? You're right about those EMG's! How's that deltoid coming? What's the status on your sergery? Can or will they do a referral?

looks like the deltoid is a no show so far, so seeing my surgeon hopefully thursday and definitely the 21st of this month. they could do a referral but im not coming over to the states till january.
hate the windows of opportunity.

I'm sorry about this timing! They have had me working weird/unusual shifts going on two weeks now and haven't had the energy to do much of anything lately. I hate to hear that on your deltoid! You'll have to let me know when you get over here in Jan. We need to hook up!
My recovery is going well. I have movement of bicep/tricep/deltoid and have been getting busy w/therapy and getting things stronger. I can't make a 90 degree bend yet it's quite slower than I thought getting these muscles stronger as apose to the rest of things. Take care and God bless.
