I hate to say it, but I am not sure if any neurologist I have seen has much to offer for BPI- I should not say that to imply all are this way. Maybe it is only the ones I have had to see. But, they are not really up on this type of problem.

Hi Joy, think it was me,(not sure we are allowed to mention names on this board) as I found him very positive and best of all he has years of experience. Like you I stumbled upon the referral but do wonder why nobody thought to refer me to him for a few years when time was of the essence.

hi aurelia,
great to hear back from yes it was you who referred me
to him,and i cant thank you enough i knew i was in the right place the minute he start talking to us,he has offered mark an operation in consists of taking muscle from his cafts and thighs and putting them into his chest and arm but there is nothing he can do for his nerves so he will always be in pain olus there is a chance he could lose the function of his hand, but still it is hope we have to go back on the 3rd of dec with our decision, also i am thinking of putting in a complaint about the neuroligist he should have reffered us on,
i cant remember if you said you suffered from the same as mark and did you have the opeation and how did it go
thank you so much again

hi richard,
great to hear from you,i am so annoyed with that neuroligist, mark could be on the way to recovery if he had of reffered him on to bpi specialist he has been in pain for 7 years goes through bouts of depression and it could have been avoided.i am seriously thinking of going further about it, richard i hope all is well with you its always good to hear from you.

Hi Joy,
Good to know he will try to do something...I had my lats moved into my shoulder to help with deltoid movement. Think my injury is different, and even though the movement they hoped would come didn't, it is an improvement. Most operations are only degrees of improvements in this injury but everything helps.

Hi Joy,
I just wanted to mention that my pain magically disappeared after 9 years. I still have it act up when I'm sick (or recently during a hurricane), but otherwise I just feel a buzzing that is completely tolerable. So don't let Mark give up hope.
