A list of who's who

I was wondering if anyone considered making a list of who's who- not with e-mails or anything just naem of child , injury, birthdate or age, name of parent, possibly surgeries done. It seems we spend a lot of time figuring out who's who. I would be happy to help put it together. I see names come and go more so on this new board I think and I can't keep them straight except for the famous few LOL. Must be old age LOL. Maybe I am the only one struggling with this but I'd love to know our stats. Let me know what you think.

Carole - I think this is a great idea if it could be self maintained.... meaning an input screen that whoever wanted to input stuff, could do it on their own.... cuz if one person had to do all the input it would become a major task.
maybe this new software package has something like this built into it? ask ryan (

I think it sounds like a great idea too and agree with Francine's point that it would have to be self-maintained. I once thought of doing this a long time ago, but realized that there were too many people here to try to keep it straight and accurately updated. As Fran said, ask Ryan. Perhaps you could post your idea in the suggestion forum. BTW, it was nice talking to you tonight. I hope the background noise (aka Nicole) wasn't too loud for you. Take care. -Tina

I think it's a great idea to have a list to reference. It would be very beneficial to all of us it would seem. Here's my info: My daughter Brittney, Left OBPI, C5 and C6 stretched, born 2/21/92 and is 9, my name is Christy, and Brittney has not had any surgeries.

Yes I agree it should be self regulating. I will try to e-mail Ryan this weekend. Tina those noises are music to my ears- being a teacher I can't function without background noise LOL.

Ryan..
Why not have a simple form to fill in by those who would want to participate in this placed somewhere on the website? Once the form was filled in, it could be submitted to a database which could then be set up to be accessed by your registered message board users...should be easy enough to do...also, quick question here; do you have an automatic email address verifyer 'plugged in' to the message board software? I have good reason to ask this....

I think this is a great idea!!!
First of all is it possible when we click on the posters name to see if it is a parent - grandparent - Obpi or Tbpi poster....friend etc...that would be very helpful to those who post on both boards... I think what I am saying is that this information become part of the sign in with the option of course to keep some of the information hidden if necessary.
If information is necessary as far as the extent of injury or surgery's I think that might be better on a separate page of this website...
And ryan how about spell check...LOL... I am haunting you some of us OBPI have really spelling issues- we have compared notes on this subject...LOL...
Can we have some happy faces etc... ok I'll just settle for what ever you do and thank you for all your hard work....
keep smiling
Kath

How about profiles? Is that something possible to setup? I see them on quite a few sites that I visit, so that way it could be optional, but still allow people to keep straight who's who- if they want to do that. Just a thought, maybe it'll work!
