Back from Mayo

Post by Rosaline »

Hi everyone,
We have just arrived back in Alabama from Mayo and it was the most amazing trip. The "Team" is amazing they explained everything to us so that we all understood. Each one of their personalities are respectfully different and we appreciated that so much. Jay will be having his first surgery on Sept. 4. He is excited because they will begin to work on his hand first, that's what he wants to get back the most. Does anyone know where I can book the cheapest airline tickets, because there is no way we can do this drive again. Any information would be helpful.

Glad you had such a good trip. We're heading back to Rochester a couple of weeks after you and I didn't find anything even remotely reaosnable (for us) cost wise. Though we are flying out of a smallish airport in the NE, so you might have better luck. We're flying into Milwaukee- the tickets were about $550 cheaper. I hear it's about a 3 hour drive to Mayo from there- so well worth the $1100 we'll save overall. I booked them through Expedia. Good luck

Rosaline,
I booked our flights from Harrisburg, PA to Rochester through Orbitz.com. When I booked the flight and the hotel together they gave you a better rate. This seemed to be the cheapest for us. When Melanie had her surgeries we stayed at the Staybridge that was right across from St. Mary's so we never had to rent a car. Sue
