Hello Mike, Have you had a surgery on your arm ? I tore all nerves up, doctors around here said it would be useless to operate, might as well amputate. By some of the posts ive read here, looks like even if all the nerves was tore you can still be able to get something done with it.

Yes, KM you should check with a BPI Specialist. You may get something from the arm. We took Dustin to Mayo in MN. Most other drs do not have a complete knowledge of the injury or treatment. It's worth a consult at least to get their opinion and/or plan of treatment.

Thank you Sue for the information. I checked the medical resorces here on this site and there is only 1 doctor in Atlanta. Dr Peljovich. Has anybody gone to him ? I live qite a ways from Atlanta but it migth be worth the trip just to see him and see what he says.

Yeah I had surgury about 9 months after my accident, I went to Dr.McKinnon in St.Lois to have a nerve transplant, when I got there though she said there wasn't much she could do because of how bad my BPI was, but she tried and took a nerve from my pec and ran it to my bicep which gave me some use of it, but not much.

The main problems I have with mine is the pain, I always have sever pain in my forearm & hand.
