Hi all, am a newbie to this website, wish I had found it before! Had a right arm bpi injury 20 years ago next month following motorbike RTA here in Scotland. Just wondering how many people have seen this "Luke Arm" project by Dean Kamen? http://www.spectrum.ieee.org/video?id=221 Seems to me electronic technology is still creeping ahead of spinal nerve repair. If someone could design a similar slimline hybrid to fit around arm not only would it keep arm flexible till something else comes along but would certainly have its uses too. What do you think?
This 20 years of pain thing is a different matter....

Al, thanks for posting that, I think thats one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Now we just need to modify it to fit around and existing arm.
Very awesome fund!

That is truly amazing!

I took a ride on the Segway at camp and thought it was an amazing invention.
But this is far more than that... it will help so many people get back their independence.
This will give people back their lives after sustaining such serious injuries.
