I'm scheduled to have MCS Sept 11th and NT (Nerve Transfer) Oct 8th. Any information any one can tell me about MCS I would love to hear. I'm in for a very bust Fall. Three months after the MT is done I will be having it done again. I feel pretty good about the MT. I really don't know much about MCS.
Priscilla, You have been incredible. You helped in with what to ask
This is what Miranda at Dr. Lee's office gave me
"You will have tubes during your hospital admission, however when you are discharged so are the tubes! therefore no tubes when you go home.
You will have dissolvable sutures in the upper extremity and roughly 25 staples in the lower extremity (to be removed on your 1st post-op visit) VNA is not necessary. Your leg will be sore, but you will be mobile.
Strength in the leg is not affected.
Both incisions will have dry dressings".
