We are getting ready to head to Texas for our second surgery. Our first was the muscle release and it was fairly easy to get clothes on and off due to the angle of the arm. I think her arm will be down more to her side this time and I think it might be a little more difficult to get clothing on and off??? Any suggestions??I was thinking about getting some inexpensive shirts with velcrow(?) down the right side to make it easier. Any suggestions would be great.

Since Georgia is a right and she wears a 4T-5T I will need to get shirts several sizes larger and cut under the sleeve all the way down the side and use probably ribbons???

my daughter is 8 and just had the Triangle Tilt done last week. With the new SARO brace he is using, we did not have to do much modification to her shirts. I bought 2-3 sizes larger for tank tops(the stretchy ones), and only needed to cut down the seam about 3" or so.
Also, I found if you can get them with the racer back, the arm holes are much larger, and with buying a bigger size I didn't have to cut them at all. Just slide over affected arm first, then head and other arm.
This brace is much improved over the older gunslinger splint her first used.

ths pictures show children with a shirt on under their splint, but this is only for the fitting. After surgery it is worn directly against the skin.
