My husband is an avid video game player. We have playstation 2, Xbox and Nintendo Wii. Since his accident he hasn't been able to play the ps2 or the xbox but the wii is an incredible invention. Most of the games he can play with the wii remote. Some of the games he plays with the mini game cube controller by putting his whole hand over the controller like a mouse and uses all his fingers to play. When he can't use the game cube controller and needs to use both the nunchuck and the wii remote, I sewed and elastic band onto his left shoe and he uses his toe to maneuver the nunchuck. We play many of the wii games. Our newest games are the Mario Kart, the Wii fit and guitar hero(which he plays using the controller not the guitar). For the computer, he plays anything that is not first person shooter(cannot move and turn at the same time). I am looking for a gaming pad that also serves as a mouse simultaneously. There is also someone named Ben Heckmen that is trying to build a one handed xbox 360 controller. We keep busy with all of that! Anyone else have any other ideas?

il2:1946 is a great game and very realistic so he would probably like that plus the online dogfights rule

Hi!
After reading these posts, I looked up one handed gaming peripherals and found this. It is a one handed controller that works for Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 and PC. All of the buttons can be arranged any way that you want them. Works for left handed or right handed use. We purchased one and can't wait for it to come!

I use an xbox controller. I have enough movement in my finger flexers and thumb where I can pull the trigger, move the stick and push the stick in. It took me a long time to figure out how to compensate with my thumb right and some times my thumb falls off the stick and I have to put it back on.

I've just purchased a Wii and it would be great to know what games people are able to play just with the Wiimote.?
I've played Wii sports to death and need a Wii change.
