Are there any adults that are interested in meeting some time this summer or before? Maybe an overnight somewhere nice or different?
Thanks

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

I live in Ohio in a western suburb of Cleveland. North Ridgeville. I don't mind driving somewhere if it isn't too far.
Just let me know where you all live--As far as Missouri---I sure wouldn't mind going to Branson again--but it looks like there are a lot of folks here in Ohio.
Whatever everyone decides, I'm for

Yes, Jungle Jim's in Fairfield. Nancy took me there in 2006 when I flew to Cincinati to have my 1st BPI Consult ever & got many of my questions answered.
Anyhow, I love that Jungle Jims!! Ohio is still do-able since there are sooo many of you there.

HUGS to all,
Carolyn J

I vote for a gathering in Ohio!!! I will come if I can.

Carolyn, you didn't fly to Cincinnati. You flew to Cleveland. I Remember driving to Cincinnati with you and Nancy.

I remember Jungle Jim's, too, though I didn't remember the name of the place. I remember the unusual restroom doors, but I'm glad to say that I don't remember any snake heads.
