Justin's spica cast is off!

Justin had his spica cast removed on Monday at BCH after 5 weeks. He is doing well and we are already seeing some improvement. He is supinating. He can raise his arm over his head but he is stiff and weak. He keeps telling me his arm is tight and the doctor has to make it looser. For the past two nights when he is going to sleep he is telling me he wants the cast back. He is only 21/2 so he will probably forget about the cast soon.

Melissa, Glad to hear that Justin is doing well. That is cute how he wants his cast back. Things grow on them so easily!
We were there Monday for such a long time! Dr Waters had us waiting this time in the exam room for almost an hour not including the time spent in the waiting room. Its all worth it though. Do you have another appt yet? If so, I am sure it wouldnt be the same day again =)
