Shoulder Lock Procedure

Hearty congratulations to Courtney and Jeff!!

Yesterday when we met our surgeon he was suggesting a shoulder lock procedure. He said that he would fuse the shoulder bone with the upper arm, so that the upper arm will get flexibility based on the shoulder movements.He said there are advantages and disadvantages to this procedure but that was up to us to explore. I feel that this is just going to make the joints more rigid even though cosmetically the limb might look better and will not look flail.

If anyone having complete avulsion has gone through this procedure, please let me know.

Particularly if anyone has taken this under Dr. Anil Bhatia.
