Beth,
I hope you had the best possible experience. We were thinking of you the same day when our daughter was also in surgery. We thought our Hannah would have numerous avulsed nerves, with some beyond repair. We had been told she would never regain any movement in her hand and at best might only be able to bend her arm. It turned out that all the nerves are somewhat torn, but do all have a connection between each one. Now we can be much more hopeful. I hope your Hannah and your family are doing well. Please let us know, when you get a chance.

You are who this post was originally addressed to! I'm so glad to hear your little Hannah's nerves weren't avulsed. That's so encouraging!!!!

There is another Beth and Hannah on this site? My goodness! I hope the other Hannah's surgery went well, also!

Thanks for the inquiry. I appreciate your support and concern. It does mean a lot! -And helps a lot too. I was really comforted throughout our hospital experience knowing that if I had any questions or concerns I had a great support group to help me. You guys are great!! There IS another Beth with a Hannah with OBPI who also had surgery on the same day as our Hannah... Pretty weird! I have not seen her post anything since then and hope she and her family are doing well.

I recently read somewhere, the other Beth with a daughter Hannah lives in Georgia. I'm hoping Beth from GA sees this and posts how her Hannah is doing since her surgery.
