Hi everyone,

We had Ella's BPI evaluated at St. Louis University under the supervision of Dr. Borschel there. Although we don't have all the test results back yet, the problem appears to be mainly the deltoid muscle. She appears to have function in the rest of her arm. So, the shoulder needs some help.

Dr. Borschel believes she will benefit from a nerve transfer surgery taking a tricep nerve and using it to reconnect the deltoid.

It has already been about 3 months since the accident (broken neck c1c2 fracture) and he would like to operate before the injury is 4 months old.

Any thoughts? Any thoughts on Dr. Borschel has anyone else used him?

I think he is with Park right. He was pretty nice if it was the same guy. We always see three people when we go to St Louis but Park was the main one.

I still want to come and visit yall if you ever have some free time.
