I just wanted to remind everyone to keep the people in California in your prayers. Those fires are awful and being from Montana I can only imagine how many homes are damaged and the amount of people the fires are affecting. Has anyone heard from the Canter family? Are they in danger of the fires?

If anyone needs anything please let us know.
*HUGS* & Prayers

I heard from Cathy yesterday and they were not evacuated yet but they were making plans just in case.

Cathy said the smoke was terrible.
We have friends in a shelter with two small kids and an elderly MIL... it's really rough.

They are all in my prayers. I wish I knew a rain prayer for CA.

Yes, My prayers are with everyone in California. Also.
Kath, I'm glad you updated on Cathy and her family... that was Scott's 1st concerns when watching the news on the fires...he asked "How are Cathy and her girls?" Please pass on to her that Scott is very concerned about them & is praying for them.

Hi all,

I talked with my brother and sister-in-law yesterday, so far they are ok, but the smoke is another story.

Kath, so glad you talked with Cathy and that they are doing fine so far. I also have been thinking about them.

My thoughts are with all the family and friends and the people of CA.

Hugs, Karen

Yes, the smoke is really terrible. We have Joshua on his asthma stuff round the clock. The fires haven't gotten less than 5 miles from us, but Tom's sister and step-sister's families were both evacuated on Monday. The fire was a few blocks from their house and a controlled burn was done on the hillside a 1/2 block away. That was scary!

I feel so bad for all of you and especially for all those with Asthma. I hope your family will all be safe.

I just heard from Cathy again and they thought they would be evacuated but now they will not. She also said the smoke was terrible.
Karen I am so glad to hear your family is safe
Let's hope and pray that they can get these fires under control...

My prayer also go out to your first responders and firefighters they seem to be doing an amazing job.

Kath,

I also heard from Cathy, she said the girls were packed ready to go if they had to.

She also told me how bad the smoke is and how many of their friends have lost their homes. I feel so bad for them all.

Hugs, Karen

I heard from Cathy last night and she is not being evacuated but the smoke is still terrible.

I hope that some of those poor people can soon be in a home again and find some of their personal belongings.
It must be so hard on them.
