Neck Pain

Hi Everyone! Has anyone else experienced this?: Last week I got a phone call from daycare saying that Amanda woke up from her nap hysterically screaming that her neck hurt. By the time I got to the school she had calmed down but was holding her neck on the opposite side of her injury. She hadn't fallen or been pinched or anything, it just seemed to stiffen up during her nap. Of course I took her home and she seemed fine the rest of the day but was holding her neck every once in a while. What do you guys think? Do you think it could just be a stiff neck from sleeping funny? She has also been complaining of pain in her bpi arm but doesn't cry about it- just sort of whines. We go for capsulodesis in two weeks so I'm hoping the surgery will help alleviate this new "pain". Did those of you who had pain before capsulodesis notice improvement once the shoulder was positioned properly?
Thanks,
Rachel
