anybody fooling anyone?

I'm going to fool maia for dinner tomorrow night. I got this idea out of a magazine called Family Fun.

I'm going to make individual meatloaves in cupcake papers in a cupcake tin. Then I will frost them with colored mashed potatoes. (Is this cruel? lol lol)

Then for desert I'm going to make either a Fried Egg Sundae or Grilled Cheese. Fried Egg sundae is vanilla ice cream on the bottom of a dish, covered in marshmellow fluff and topped with a circle of lemon pie filling (for the yolk) the Grilled cheese is toasted pound cake slices filled with orange/yellowy frosting. heheheh

but I still have to think up something for lou....
any ideas?? what are you going to do?

Francine,
Don't you just love that magazine!! I am serving my family the same thing tonight - just got done mixing the meatloaf. I used my own recipe and not the one in the book. I hope it cooks the same. Happy Eating!

How was dinner????

I didn't do it!!! I can't believe it..but I didn't. Maia had a play date - first one ever and we stayed longer than I anticipated and I never got to the store to get the final ingredients I needed. Then she fell asleep in the car and when that happens I don't move her - Lord knows she needed the nap. So the whole thing kinda fell apart.

Tell me though - how was it???? Did they think it was great???

I'm going to try and do it for this weekend.
