Wrist brace w/hook (pics)

Earlier this week I decided to try out my little hooked wrist brace idea for riding my motorcycle. My hand kept slipping from my glove while it was attached to the bar. My first opportunity to try it was at MSF class this weekend. Which means I wore this for 5rs straight each day while riding a motorcycle doing parking lot drills. My hand stayed in place exactly as I need when I rode around, but it detached from the bike when I pulled away to dismount. So no worries with being hung up on the bike. I had no sore spots or irritations on my wrist either, just a little sweaty from the glove
To make this I used a piece of stainless steel sheet, cut it, riveted to a wristbrace I had and shaped it. I stuck some velcro on there to to help the attachment.
You folks out there wanting to ride a bike/motorcyle, try this idea out and see how it works for you.
