Cincinnati, opinions please!

Post by Stel_Bel »

Hi,we're planning on seeing Dr.Kozin this June but we really want to establish care some place closer to home as well. So the Brachial Plexus Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital can fit our daughter in in May. Does anyone here have any experience with the BP center in Cincinnati? Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated! We hardly got any responses on UBPN about our last BPI specialist, and now I think I know why, I don't want to be going to another place no one would reccomend, I searched this site but it seemed most the posts were older, anyone have recent experience? Please help if you can! Thanks!

ps My e-mail adress is erincm23@hotmail.com, thanks again!

We were really pleased with Cincinnati's BPI Clinic!!! We have about a five hour drive one way for our visits and it's well worth it. Feel free to email me with any specific questions. Since I don't know your child's injury or age I hate to go on and on here and not have it be helpful to you. hughmongolloyd@yahoo.com

Best of luck in your decision!

ps - you can see my daughter's profile and story on the CCBPI website!!

Hi I hope you were able to get the info you were looking for, I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. I haven't been on here in a while. My daughter, Miah has had three surgeries done at Cinci Childrens and were all successful! we can't say enough about them. They are all so wonderful! They are only about an 1 to 2 hours from us so, pretty close but we have been seeing them since 2003 and wouldn't go anywhere else! My daughters story is also on the cchmc website. I would be more than happy to talk if you want more info. tonyahorsecrazy@fuse.net There also is a support group forming for the Dayton/ Cincinnati area if you're interested. Hope all else is well, and don't forget (it is hard sometimes, but worth it) to SMILE!!!!!
