Gene Therapy

I saw this documentary last night on PBS all about this Dr at Pittsburgh University Hospital that is doing research into Gene Therapy and how pretty soon we will not have to have surgery to repair damaged muscle and tendons that a single shot of this gene therapy will allow your body to regrow new muscles and tendons, he stated that our bodies have the ability to do this and the therapy just shows it how. He stated he has been doing this testing in animals successfully and its just around the corner for humans. God I would so love to believe this will be soon but reality probably not for 20 years till the government is done testing it and its FDA approved. But at least there is some hope on the horizon.
