tendon lengthening update...

Hi everyone...
I know it's been a long time since I've posted, but just wanted to fill you in. I had a bicep tendon lengthening the end of August 2006 with Dr. Nath. I am getting much stronger and my arm is much straighter than it used to be. I had a 30 degree contracture, and now it hovers around 15 degrees.
I must admit, training my tricep how to actually work for the first time is harder than I thought it would be. I can fire it, but that muscle is so weak, my bicep still wants to take over for everything. That basically means - raising my arm above my head, etc. is still a challenge. But, my PT is great and is always coming up with new ways for me to use my tricep- even if it's just a tiny movement.. talk about baby steps
All right, that's it for now, but I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive and well..
