Sorry I haven't been around but I've been going through some really hard times. I'm currently in the Intensive Outpatient Program for my depression brought on by my OBPI. But I'm getting better slowly. I also left my husband the day after my birthday. He's an alcoholic and phycologically abusive and I just couldn't reach him. The twins and I stayed with a friend for a week then we moved back home but only after DH started to make some changes. We're currently in counceling and doing much better.

The twins have been up to no good lately. They are constantly getting into trouble and growing up faster than I can blink. We recently got rid of Stevie's bink and 4 days after that the twins started crawling out of their cribs so we had to move them to twin beds which isn't going very well at the moment. But all and all when they aren't frustrating the living daylights out of me they are the joy of my life.

Injury wise, I'm not doing so well. I've been in tons of pain not only with my arm but also with my back and just about everything else. I recently saw a surgeon about my hands but because my last EMG showed only mild CTS he sent me for some more testing. Ihad some bloodwork done to rule out rhumetoid arthritis and hypothyroidism as well as a MRI of my neck. Blood work came back normal and the MRI only showed some minor problems that shouldn't be causing all the pain. So it's off for another EMG to see if the CTS has worsened over the last 6 months. If not then we're back to square one. If it has then I get to have a bilateral release done with a long recovery time while I take care of 2 two year olds. Not sure which answer I would prefer.

But the most exciting news is that I contacted Dr. Nath's office today. And not 2 hours after that I got a call from a nurse telling me what they needed for me to send to them for him to give me a treatment plan. I haven't been able to get to any of the clinics and as they don't have one coming close enough to me anytime in the near futer posted she said they would do it via email and mail. So as soon as I have my next EMG and can get the video done I'll be sending everything on to Dr. Nath! I know he probably won't be able to tell me anything that the other drs haven't but at least I have to try. Oh and I mentioned this to the nurse and she said she very much thinks he'll be able to help me.

Here's hoping.

Kissy,
Have been wondering where you are....was thinking you were just busy with the twins!!! I am glad that you made some positive changes with the DH !! Soemtimes they jsut need a kick in the rump to figure out we mean BUSINESS !!! I don't know why men think they can treat us like some of them do. I am luckily married for the second time to a wonderful man, but it took a few not so wonderful men to get me to him...Let's put it this way.....I kissed a few frogs in my life!!! Keep on the clinics to get you what you need for Dr. NAth, I have told you before he is a wonderful man !!! And enjoy those kids....they grow up fast and end up to be teenagers.....LOL !!! Even though it has been a bumpy road, it sure has been a productive one! It is great news that Dr. Nath think he may be able to help.

As for the twins...they do grow too fast. My oldest "baby" is 15 now, how the heck did that happen?!? Enjoy even the troubled times with them, for they will been teens and then gone from the house before you can blink.

Have faith for the past 10 years doctors have said there wasn't anything more they could do for my son one primary surgery and a failed tendon transfer. Sept 10 we sent an email to Dr Nath an within hours got an email back asking for a video he said he thought he could help him. We sent the video and Dr Nath called and told us he knew he could help Frankie he had the Mod Quad on done nov 9th Dr Nath will do two more surgery's for the lower arm and hand. He is brillant I know he can help you. Hang in there we are all here for you. Mare

I have been wondering where you were but assumed the twins kept you pretty busy.
I am so happy to hear that you are getting help for your depression and also for your DH.
While OBPI can be depressing having and alcoholic to deal must be really difficult.
I hope he can get help and work on recovery.

Dr.Phil says "you teach people how to treat you".
I am glad you will be getting some support an help.

As for your darling twins... trust me they grew so fast before you blink your charmers will be parents themselves.
Enjoy them while you can.
Someone just told my daughter "I liked it best when all my children wore feety PJ's."
Her children are all teenagers and driving... LOL...

Keep us posted please.
