Here it is pretty busy. Christmas is always so busy, especially with 5 kids (6 different concerts!!)
Additionally, DH was laid off as of Friday and is looking for work. He has been using the computer alot, which usually leaves me with little time to get in here. He is studying for an interview tomorrow, so the computer is mine for a couple of min before the kids need it for school work.
Holidays are always hard, though. I know I overdo it, my arm has told me more than once and I know I will hear from it again before it is all over. Just wrapping presents last week left me in pain for two days!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!!

Hi Kath,
working 2 jobs, Christmas shopping, babysitting, taking care of my mom who is in assisted living. I type all day and most of the evening. I read the posts but unless I have a comment, just hate to do any more typing than I have to. Hands hurt, arm is tired, back hurts, arms are barely holding out through a shower---hands are getting uglier ever day--I think the word is gnarled--just tired!!!! Other than that everything is great. Took my mom Christmas shopping on Sunday. spent the next 2 days with sore hands and a stiff back from pushing her around--house is a mess--can I get anyone to help me clean for christmas?????????????
Please send chocolate!!!!!
Merry Christmas
Pat

I am trying to finish up for Christmas.
Christmas Eve is and all day eating feast in our home.
My husband is Italian so we celebrate Christmas Eve Italian style. Yes, Irish girls can cook Italian foods.
We will eat from 1 pm until 5... then all twelve of us will go to Church (my oldest granddaughter is singing at the 6 pm Mass.
After church we will come home and have all sorts of homemade cakes and desserts.
The kids will ALL leave at a good time for the little one's to go to bed and wait for Santa.
Christmas morning we open gifts together and then in our new Christmas PJ's we will head over to my daughters.
It's a PJ party on Christmas Day for us.
We exchange our gifts on Christmas Day and see all the things Santa left for the kids.
My son will have his in-laws over this year,so we will only be 8 for the PJ party.
We even eat dinner in our new PJ's... LOL...
In the meantime, I sold my house and have to pack up and be out of here in 7 weeks... We have been here 19 years,I should be packing we are downsizing.
This house is so big and that means getting my kids to take there stuff out of here.
We have not found a place to move to temporarily because the place we hope to buy is not built yet.
It is a 55+ community and it is in between both daughters houses and about 2 miles from my house.
We can't move far away because the kids moved back here to be near us and their friends.
I have so much work to do so I decided that I will just enjoy Christmas and then worry.
I feel like Scarlet O'Hara in Gone with the Wind.
I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas and does not over work our poor little arms... LOL... that's a joke!

For me, its finals week. So I have hardly had time to think. I have studied so much that I really dont think one more piece of info will fit in my brain. One more test then I am off for break and I cant wait!
My break will strat out very nice, I see my OT Friday morning and then right after I get to babysit her most adorable little 4 year old who absolutely loves me. Then its not so much fun as I have to go to work. I picked up a couple shift but wasnt very smart in my timing. I work 3-11 pm Friday then 7am - 1 pm Sat. Not vert smart planning. Then its Christmas for me and I cant wait to spend it with my family!!!
I hope every one has a great break!!! I will enjoy mine!
Hugs to all and sorry I havent been around but my finals are much harder this year than last and require a lot more time to study.
Hugs,

Amy,
Good luck with your finals. You sound well prepared. Have fun on your time off from school. Enjoy being with your family and friends.
Kath,
Sounds like Christmas is really a fun time with your family. This is a special time. I think you are right to enjoy it, while putting your packing and other concerns about moving on the back burner.
Everyone,
Enjoy your holiday season, whatever your holiday is, or holidays are. If you don't celebrate any "end of the year" holidays, I still wish you the best.
Hugs,
Joanie
