Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

No Carolyn, Brandon's snow angels have two wings.....he gives awesome two armed hugs....maybe at camp he will give you one. It is still snowing.....we must have a foot by now and they are saying 18 inches by the time we are done. I went out in it.....just because we needed milk and I don't believe the weatherman so I never plan ahead.....the roads are horrible and some of the drivers....whew..I am glad we are home. This afternoon, we are going to see happy feet. Mom stuck in house with four kids equals alot more gray air than I already have !!!! LOL GAYLE

Mandie,
you could be getting your snow......cold and wet is how ours started !!!

We are buried up here is Wisconsin as well. The kids are home from school today. This is the first snow they have had in many years, so they were very excited. It has finally stopped snowing now - looks like about a foot of snow, along with some major drifts. My daughter is having lots of fun outside. I'm kind of bummed that my 2 year old (BPI) can't go out and play. He just had the tendon transfer surgery 2 weeks ago and I'm afraid the cast would get wet.

Lori,
Yes I heard that Wisconsin got buried too. My boss lives there and couldn't get out of her apartment parking lot today. I heard you guys got it worse than us. It is a bummer that your little guy can't go out and play. That would make me sad too. My little guy loves the snow so much.....daddy came home from work early today to take them all sledding....peace at last!!! Gayle

Mandie, I will gladly give you 3/4 of the snow we got today! It's kind of fun watching it fall and accumulate, but not much fun clearing the driveway, sidewalks and patio! Oh well, kids had a great day...

Listen here. I live in Upstate NY, and we usually have a bunch of snow by now. It is amazing that we don't have any yet. Yesterday was in the 60's. It's a little eerie. I'm not complaining, just cautious because today we now have 70 mph wind gusts with the temperature dropping tonight and some light snow to fall overnight. I'll gladly share snow with anyone desiring it for the most part, but alas, when you live in Upstate NY, you must accept that if you wait 10 minutes, the weather will change and snow is inevitable evenutally.

Enjoy the snow to all that want it. I just want it for a few days befor and after Christmas.

Here in Missouri the governor declared a state of emergency because of the snow! I don't think it's that severe, but maybe that's because we still have our heat, lol. The 3 of us (hardly anyone went to work, even my hubby got to stay home, so fun!) waded through the snow to our neighbors house-they have a 10 month old daughter- for hot apple cider and playtime for Stella. So glad to hear everyone else is having fun too!
