OH MY GOD I couldn't wait to tell the whole world, Tonight when I took Dave (the pillow splint) off frankie to make some velco adjustments, he said his elbow was really stiff and he wanted me to stretch it out a little. He said it felt weird. Frankie has always been able to bend the elbow in then relax the bicep and let it drop down. He also has a really bad contracture so it stays bent. Tonight he bent it in and was able to push it back out and its really strong. The contracture has also loosened a little bit. He played for about 5 min in total amazement just bending it in and push it out saying look mom I could never do that before. This is the 1st time since his Nov 9th Mod Quad that he has tried to move his arm. Mare

Frankie, thats so awesome! You can do any thing if you work at it! Therapy can be the coolest thing ever, but work hard.
I hope that Dave does not become too annoying with the upcoming adjustments. Good luck!

Well frankie had a minor set back because of the location of his stitches it seems my boy sweats a lot and the stitches dissolved to quickly under his arm so the incision started to separate and bleed the doctor gave us some antibiotic cream and we have to watch it he doesn't think it will need to be stitched again but It's hard to wash it since there are still stitches that go down the side that would melt if they get wet but other then that Frankie and Dave are great Mare
