my wife found on the interent this glove with a velcro strap across the palm of it that can be used to hold a tennis racket, golf club, pool stick, etc but we can't seem to find it anymore. does anyone know where we can locate one? i was an avid golfer before my injury and although i have complete paralyse of my right arm and hand, i would like to be able to continue golfing. any advice would be grateful.

I have never seen them online but if you see an OT/PT ask if they can make one for you. My OT made one for me so I could do weight lifting.
Good luck!!!

Look in a medical supply catalog. Names of catalogs I have heard of are Alimed and sammons preston. They have all kinds of rehab equipment. Or just google medical supply or something and look under the ADL (stands for activities of daily living) section. Most of these catalogs have what they call adaptive equipment(in case you haven't heard the term yet) called universal cuffs. They are designed for people with weak grip strength due to all sorts of physical limitations. Even if you don't find one with velcro, my advice would be to attach your own velcro to them. They may be of some help to you.
Good Luck.
