I know I haven't been on the boards near as much as I used to. My daughter, Rosalynn,is almost 6. She had LOBPI. Surgeries at 1 adn 3 years of age. She has about 85% use of her arm. She went from an IEP to 504 plan this year. She is doing great. We have cut down to PT/OT once a month just to monitor where she is at and to beable to be proactive if she starts to loose any function during a growth spurt. Our second daughter Ayn is 18 mo old. She was delivered c-section and is healthy. We are expecting our third child. a month ago they found an abnormality in the baby's heart beat. This week they sent us for even more test and we got some very devestating news. The baby's heart only has 2 chambers instead of 4. This will require a serious of open heart surgeries after birth until age 3. Also her internal pacemaker is not fuctioning properly so she will need an artificial pace maker after she is born. This is not a good combination. There is a chance that she could have herat failure while still in the womb. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Some of you have met Rosalynn at clinics or picnics. She is a very bright and loving little girl. She is taking all of this very hard. We debated on telling her, but we figured it was not going to be something we could keep form her.

Cara.
You and your family are in my prayers, May God give you all strength to get through this difficult time. He can change things, so trust in him for your strength. He said "those that are troubled and heavy laden come unto me, and I will give you rest." All his promises are true so take this one and ponder it in your heart to help you each day.
May God Bless
Kathy W.
