I took objection to the address of Sweetheart, and today I was written up for insubordination, and lost my job.

That sucks. I am sure you can call the labor board or something and get your job back.

I'm glad. Now you can go get a better job with hopefully a respectful boss. What a jerk! I'd file a harrassment complaint immediately. Contact the labor board in your state.

I suggest contacting the EEOC. your nearest office, ASAP!
It could help the next person who has to deal with that "person".

I have to ditto the above. It is sexual harassment, and it is illegal.

Here are some details.
I am a mathematician. For the longest time I had been trying to get a teaching job with my local school system. Responding to every request for teachers: no response. Two years later I wrote a letter demanding to understand why my applications were not considered.
During those two years and one year prior I was also a very aggressive advocate for my BPI child. When she was two years, nine months, she received two at home PT therapies. Then she turned 3, and Early Intervention ended. The Social Worker told me then that no other service was available to me. So everything was out-of-pocket.
In meantime I was doing my research and writing adamant letters to the School System and Social Services about their treatment of my child. And then my daughter had the mod quad. I again appealled for help. Nothing, but in this small community I knew that people were starting to really hate me....
All the while I am trying to find a teaching job. I write that demanding letter, and suddenly two days later I am in an interview. The Principal sees that I am a very reasonable person. A week later he calls be back for a second interview. He has only one message. He says privately that "many people" are very much opposed to my placement as a teacher, yet he is willing to take a risk and hire me "only if I behave."
I took the job. Arrive at the job. People are very rude, they lie to me. I am observed, and her record is completely divorced from reality. I have my follow up conference. The room is thick with anger, yet even according to the Observation Report I have done nothing wrong of real significance. My Associate Principal literally prevents me from talking, and my Department Head calls me Sweetheart, I object, and then she just refers with a snarl to my surname only. I walked out of the meeting.
The next day, while I was teaching, I got a letter from my Vice Principal stating that my behavior was insubordinate, and demanded that I attend a meeting the next morning with my principal. Who cares that we are few days before the end of the grading period, and my time is precious. I arrive at the meeting and my principal commences that I will be terminated if I am not a team player. I just sat there, and bit my tongue. At the conclusion I was offered a document which requires that I state specifically my plans and intentions toward fulfilling my teaching contract. I actually have none becuase I find this setting too acriminous. If I complete this form honestly I know that I will either be fired immediately or at the end of the current term, December. I need and want to complete the entirely of my contract, September, 2007.
What am I supposed to do? Why are parents that suffer hardship under an ill-known, ill-understood birthing injury so persecuted and isolated?

Clarification:
"At the conclusion I was offered a document which requires that I state specifically my plans and intentions toward fulfilling my teaching contract." Meaning want expense I am willing to incur with regard to testing and cousres taken. I have every intention to continue to teach with complete integrity...

And so why are you connecting your job issues to bpi?
