Hey everyone. I'm looking for any input from parents and/or therapists who have used TheraTogs for scapular stabilization. Amber has fairly significant scapular winging and we've heard "TheraTogs" thrown around a few times, but don't know much about them. I've visited the website, but would appreciate any input from anybody with experience with them for this purpose. Feel free to email me personally if you wish or post right here for others to benefit from the information as well. Thanks in advance.

Theratogs is only one of the things that you need to do to make change. If you go to Dr. Pape's site http://www.tascnetwork.net you can read about Richard Roseboom who had a lot of scapula issues as you can see in the picture and it seems to be pretty much resolved with a program of bracing, stabilization, TES, strengthening, massage, stretching, etc. Vanda ( his mom) used ARKpcb braces and TheraTogs and a custom hard splint and lots of things to make the changes with her son. They are the only people I know who were so committed to actually accomplish this amount of change without surgery. I applaud them.

We just got connected with Billi Cusick and she fitted my son with Therotogs. Scapular winginging is our main concern as well. We just started to wear it for a few days, can only hope to get results. But I would say it is worthwhile to purpue and try it out. We also recently found a therapist who knows and work wiht Therotogs. She is about 100 miles away from us.
But if you email Billi Cusick, you gusy will work something out. She is very nice to work with and very intelligient, and down to earth. You can also call that 800 number on their website. Someone is always there to answer the phone and very helpful. Highly recommended overall to try!
