Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) ?

My wife suffered a TBPI 18 months ago. She has been through nerve grafting, lots of OT/PT. And she takes meds to deal with the daily pain. She also goes to a pain clinic for nerve block shots. The last time we were there, the Dr. suggested the SCS device, and wants her to go in for a trial run. Anyone out there done this. She has been through lots of surgeries, so the thought of going through another one to implant a device on her spine is a bit unnerving. (no pun intended) You can also e-mail us a pmwheat@yahoo.com

My wife Carrie had a scs implanted years ago, it has never been effective. She's thinking about getting it removed sometime soon. Good luck in your quest for pain management. We're all looking and hoping.....
