Hi, i'm from Singapore n this is my 1st post here.
i'm 33 yrs old and was an airline pilot with SIA, until i met with a
motorcycle accident on Fri the 13th in Jan this year. had a close fracture of my right femur, from which i've recovered quite well with a pin implant.
more serious is the complete avulsion of both left n right brachial
plexus. so now both arms are disabled. i'm using toes on a trackball
with a virtual onscreen keyboard. i'm dependent on my mom for daily activities like feeding, bathing etc.
i've had neurotization done in june. will talk more about it next time
(my toes are getting tired).
i'm fighting depression; everyday's a struggle. i guess the more free-spirited a person is, the more pain he/she will feel when that freedom's lost.
this is 1 place where i find a tinge of solace. after months of following this commendable forum, i'm finally coming out of my hole. thank you.
