My sweet baby boy started the combat crawl last week! He's all over the room now! He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks and will even make a few attempts at moving those arms but if he wants to really move...he drops to his belly! I'm just so proud and excited and wanted to share! Thanks!

Excellent news.
That weight-bearing is so important.
Thanks for brightening my day!

I'm from europe and english is not my native language. So I was wandering what it means to crawl in combat style. Is that with your whole body on the floor or just with your knees and hands on the floor?
My daughter also starts to crawl a month ago, and we are absolutely thrilled about it.

combat crawl is like men in the army do...with your belly on the ground.

Wonderful news!! I love to celebrate milestones. When my son made a new one, we paraded around the house hitting pots & pans, making music. It was great fun.
Here's a cheer for Jake!!! YAYYYYYYY!

He's now crawling on all fours!!! His arm doesn't seem to be holding him back at all on this milestone. My husband and I are soooo excited and are breathing a little sigh of relief. This was a topic that worried us a lot, but he seems to be doing just fine. Thanks for all your encouraging words!

My daughter (now 4) looked the best ever when she was crawling. It is the greatest weight bearing you can do (when done within normal limits).
\congrats on this important milestone. encourage crawling as long as possible, my hubby and I felt back b/c we would actually knock her over when she tried to stand...gently of course.
