new to you all,

Post by oldsman2 »

Good day to you all. I come to you as a new member, but not to BPI. Been fighting with mine for about 3 years now. I had a pretty messed up system, I compressed some arteries up in there. I have had two ribresections done in 2004. Since then things have been kinda messed up pretty good on my left side. I have a non stop burning sensation on the underside of my left arm and some pretty harsh shoulder pains. Always popping and grinding on me, wasting of the muscles in that arm and hand. Well enough about me at the time. just wanted to come in to the site introduce my self to some of ya all. I will do some reading now and see what its like up in here.
Nice to meet you and have a good, hopefully pain free day.

Hey Chris,

I'm probably not the one to "welcome" you to the sight since I rarely check it out these days. However, welcome just the same. I sustained a severe brachial plexus injury when I was 19 years old while riding my motorcycle. That was in 1983 (time does go quickly). Since then I've had nerve graphs, tendon transfers and a shoulder fusion. As far as the pain, I'm sorry to admit it's 24/7. As I'm sure you'll agree, sometimes it feels as if my left hand is in a blast furnace. Well, I suppose if misery loves company we're in pretty good company.

All the best,

Andrew
