nausia pain since birth of bp child?

Post by admin »

ANYONE STILL EXPERIENCING PAIN OR DISCOMFORT AFTER CHILDS BIRTH? I HAVE. IT TOOK DOCTORS 10 MONTHS TO TAKE ME SERIOUSLY AND TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG INSTEAD OF SENDING ME HOME. MY DOC WAS ON VACATION SO I SAW HIS CO WORKER/PARTNER. HE GOT THE BALL ROLLING.. I THOUGHT I WAS DYING, THEY THOUGHT IT WAS MY GALLBLADDER. I HAD BRAIN SCANS , NOTHING, INCIDENTLY THEY FOUND A RETROAORTIC LEFT RENAL VEIN. ANOMALIE. WRESSLERS CAN GET THIS FROM WRESTLING. MINE WAS MORE LIKELY FROM THE NURSES KNEELING ON BE AND ELBOWING ME ON MY R SIDE. ANYWAYS MY RIGHT SIDE AORTIC VEIN SHIFTED TO MY LEFT SIDE AND PUSHED UNDERNEATH AND FUSED TO MY STOMACH AND INTO MY KIDNEY. CRAZY. IT TOOK 3 YEARS AND I WAS SCARED TO HAVE MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED BECAUSE OF THIS BECAUSE MY PAIN WAS NOT CONSISTANT AND NOT ON THE R BUT LEFT SIDE. IRONICLY, THE PAIN WAS GONE ALONG WITH THE NAUSIA AFTER I HAD IT REMOVED. I FEEL MUCH BETTER. I TRY NOT TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE NOW I KNOW HOW SURGERY FEELS AND I CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT MY ZAK GOES THROUGH, BUT WE AS PARENTS HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES TO BE THERE FOR OUR BABES. HONESTLY I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS LIKE THIS?

I UNDERSTAND, I CANNOT OR COULD NOT SEE AN OB FOR A LONG TIME. YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILD AND HONESTLY FROM A LEGAL STANDPOINT, "HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU MIGHT HAVE HEALED WITH PROPER TREATMENT" AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT ATTORNEY'S MAY SAY. I DO KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. I KNOW I DO NOT HAVE TO RELY ON A CATHATER AS MUCH AS I THOUGHT I WOULD AFTER THIS. IT'S EASIER TO GO... MY STUFF IS GRAPHIC TOO, I AM SURE WE ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES. BY THE WAY, THE ONE OF THE NURSES THAT KNELT ON ME WAS ABOUT 8 MONTHS PREGNANT AND SHE HAD TO CLIMB THE TABLE TO DO IT. THEY SCREAMED AT ME TO PUSH LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT OR SOMETHING...THE DOC PANICKED LEFT HIM HANGING THERE AFTER SHE HURT MY SON, LEAVING HIM HALF WAY IN HALF WAY OUT. IT TOOK 6 MINUTES TO FIND A ANOTHER DOC, IT WAS SUNDAY. SHE HAD NO BACK UP PLANS. IT WENT FROM HAVING A C SECTION TO "YOU'LL BE FINE I PROMISE YOU DONT NEED ONE" BABY WAS OVER 11PDS I AM ONLY 5'4 AND SMALL EVERYTHING. NEVERLESS SHE HAD 4 C SECTIONS.... I COULD GO ON, BUT WILL NOT. In reading your post it really got me wondering. I know now that my childbirthing experience was in no way normal. I had to go home with a cathedar for about a week and half after my child was born and it took me a while after that to not have "accidents". It now is time for my yearly check up and I am scared to death and worried that they will find something else wrong. Thanks Ann for sharing your story, I thought I was the only one who had to deal with a cathedar and other complications after the birth.

I had a baby with BPI 5 years ago and I still have problems "not being able to hold it in" when I sneeze or cough hard. This may happen even if I didn't know I had to go bad. Will it ever go away? Does anyone else experience this? I am young and this gets me upset thinking about it because what will it be like years down the road if there is a problem present today?

WHEN I SNEEZED OR COUGHED SOME STUFF WOULD COME OUT. BUT I HAD A CATHATER IN FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS. I COULD NEVER TAKE A BATH. I HAD A DAY TIME CATH ON MY LEG AND A LARGE NIGHT TIME ONE THAT I ALWAYS HAD TO HANG OUTSIDE THE SHOWER DOOR WHEN SHOWERING. I COULD NOT VOID AND HAD TO STRAIN AND PUSH VERY HARD, BUT COULD NOT FEEL MYSELF HAVING TO GO FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS...MY MUSCLES WERE DAMAGED. MY DOC WAS A SMALL WOMAN AND SHE SAID HER HANDS HURT THAT IS WAY SHE WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH AND DIDNT EXPECT ZAK TO BE SO BIG. BUT I KNEW. THE ULTRASOUNDS(11) SAID HE'D BE AROUND 71/2 PDS GIVE OR TAKE A POUND. BOY WERE THEY WRONG. BUT I KNEW AND TOLD HER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN BECAUSE OF THE DREAMS I HAVE HAD AND DIABETES. SHE THOUGHT IT WAS MY ANXIETY SO SHE DID NOT TAKE ME SERIOUSLY. ITS SO HARD TO FORGIVE AND A PART OF ME NEVER WILL, A BIG PART ACTUALLY AND I HATE FEELING THIS WAY, BUT WHAT ZAK GOES THROUGH, IT REMINDS ME ALL THE TIME. ANYWAYS GOOD LUCK. ANN ZAK'S MOM (3)

Unfortunately, whether you had a traumatic birth or not, having stress incontinence (which is what you are talking about w/ sneezing/coughing and then leaking) comes with pregnancy and lasts afterwards. A traumatic birth can add to that as well. Start doing those keegal exercises ladies!

IF I HAD THOSE MUSCLES LEFT I WOULD. THEY ARE GONE BUT WOULD YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT TOO? TIS' GRAPHIC. ALSO I DID NOT GAIN AS MUCH WEIGHT WITH #2BP AS THE FIRST ONE, YET MY STOMACH MUSCLES ARE SPLIT ALL WAYS AND I DID LOSE ALL WEIGHT BUT NEVER WILL THE FAT GO AWAT WITHOUT SURGERY. I CANT HANDLE SURGERY BECAUSE I HAVE A SLEEPING PROBLEM AND A HEART PROBLEM AND I GET SICK FROM THE ANESTESIA. A

My sister had very normal birth experiences...she didn't even have an epideral b/c she has mild scoliosis, but they won't give her one b/c of the spine curviture. She had huge problems with incontinence and still has them sometimes if she laughs to hard or sneezes and that and her youngest is 8. I think that's just a normal side effect of pregnancy and birth. Ahh...the things we go through for our babies!!!
