I will be praying for Matthew that his surgery goes well and that his recovery goes well. I will also pray for you...I'm sure it's hard to watch your baby go through that.

We're definitely thinking of Matthew, along with the rest of your family. Good luck and I pray for skill in the doctor's hands. Please let us know how things go. Amber had surgery at Shriner's with Dr. Kozin and it was a huge success. She had the ACR.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your thoughts. Dr. Kozin was very pleased with how both procedures went. Post-op was definitely easier when he was younger, but in the end all is well. Matthew wanted the cast off, and the bandage coveing his scar revision off. By the time this morning came around he was more accepting of things and we started a calendar when we got home with the bandage and cast removal dates. We drew on his cast and he was really pleased with the outcome!!

Cindy,
Thanks for keeping us updated. I love the calendar idea. It's a great way for him to count off the days, which I hope pass quickly.
