Subluxation sling

Post by amoinet »

Has anyone tried this...if so how well did it work. I have the wilmer sling but this looks like it would be allot more comfortable for lounging around the house.

Hi, I believe Mike Nelson uses it and feels it's the most comfortable. Check out thread "frustrated and feeling alone" dated Jan 26(?). I've been looking for a sling for my 8 yr old son (LTBPI), but will likely have to have something made for him because of his age. What do you think of the Wilmer? I posted a while back asking about it - it doesn't come in pediatric sizes either, but our orthotist may make something incorporated that general idea.
Good luck!

The wilmers great for subluxation while walking around, but not so great for laying down or just hanging out watching tv.
