craniosacral therapy

Post by gillian »

I am a Physiotherapist currently trying to find information on craniosacral therapy or cranial osteopathy in treating brachial plexus injuries. If anyone has experienced these treaments, I would love to hear from you.
Many thanks,

Hi, I did craniosacral therapy with my son for a couple months. He was only a few months old and I did it on him up until he went in for nerve grafting surgery at 6 1/2 months old. Sam had torticollis and this really helped with loosing up the muscles and getting his neck to relax. Even though we were not able to avoid nerve grafting surgery, I did notice a difference in how relaxed he was after the therapy and how much easier it was to stretch his arm. My son is 2 1/2 years old now and I have not gone back to doing the craniosacral therapy just because he won't sit still and relax for the therapy. I would like to go back to having it done on him regularly when he gets older and can sit still.
