I just would like to know from a parent not a doc what to except for our botox. thank you

What are you having botox on? My daughter just completed her 2nd botox last week. The first was to the tricep muscle...which was a miracle in itself!!! The one last week was to her wrist flexor muscles. I am doing e-stim on the wrist extendor muscles to strengthen those now. Every time she tensed her arm, the flexors kicked in an made her hand bend downward at the wrist and that is also how she rest her hand. We are praying for as much progress as we got with the botox to the triceps. Hope this helps.

I have not figured that question out yet. My son got a botox injection for his bicep muscle in september of last year and it was not worth putting him under for. The botox shot did nothing to help his arm. But they say every child is different. It may work for someone else's child. Unfortunatley it did nothing to help my baby.

My son had a botox injection to his triceps about 2 weeks ago and we are definitely seeing improvement with his biceps. I should stress that it works differently for different kids..He is able to bend his elbow which is something that he could not do before.We are going to see his doc this week for a follow up.
