United Brachial Plexus Network, Inc.

I was reading an old post a while back, cant remember where...but it said something like some drs. wont try to do anything to help BPI patients with surgeries etc... saying its just "mutilation", I think was the word used. Has anyone experienced this and what was their drs. reasons for saying it was such?
