great news??? i need some answers

Post by BIGJAVSMA »

As many of you know, Javier ROBPI has 0 function. He had primary almost a year ago (feb). He has elbow extension along with a few other small movements. No hand or wrist. Any way- just recently he has started to bend his elbow, I think. I can't tell if it is more internal rotation. It really looks like flexion to me. Please pray and keep your fingers crossed for Jody. He has therapy Wedsnesday and will be seeing Kozin soon. So, I hope to be sharing some good news soon.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
Location: New York

He is in my prayers. I know I got all of my movement very late, never give up hope for improvement and keep praying for healing.

Keeping you in our prayers........This reminds me so much of when KD started to flex her fingers, I couldn't believe it, and neither did anyone else...then it started happening all the time.

GO JODY!!!
