On our way to Mayo!

Hi everyone. On Monday, Chris and I leave for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. We are getting wheelchair assistance on our flights from Atlanta to Chicago and then to Rochester. The same for the way home too. This way, Chris doesn't have to walk the long length of the airport to our concourse since walking long distances aggravates his arm. We can board before the other passengers and get settled in and will have assistance getting through check-in and security. This also helps us get through without the risk of Chris being bumped into or having to carry luggage. So, for anyone who needs to travel, just let your airline know that you need wheelchair assistance because of a spinal cord/bpi injury and they are more than happy to help you out.
This trip is for consultations and pre-surgery tests. The BPI clinics are only done every two weeks at Mayo, so I am hoping that we can turn right around in two weeks and go back for surgery. Chris is very anxious to get this over with.
Happy New Year!
